The employers’ side of the NHS Staff Council wants to agree England-wide changes to Agenda for Change as an alternative to local variation of terms from the national agreement.
UNISON and the other NHS Staff Council Trade Unions are now seeking your views on these proposals in a joint staff side consultation.
It is of utmost importance that the response from your staff side includes your branch’s view, and that UNISON is appropriately represented in this consultation.
We understand that Unite has issued a model response letter to this survey, suggesting exactly what their members should say. UNISON however welcomes a variety of views and we want to encourage our branches to discuss the proposals and respond with their own opinions. We believe it is more important to receive genuine feedback from our members and activists on the ground, and we want to hear what you have to say. Please encourage a response from your branch or local staff side.
